King Edward VII, of England, who is on a visit to King Carlos, of Portugal, witnessed a bull fight in Lisbon.
King Edward will arrive in Paris on May 2n , and President Loubet will return the visit in the autumn.
It has transpired that
the tournament King Edward visited was a purely spectacular display of gymnastics
and skill in evading the bulls, which were turned into the arena with blunted
horns.
